Probably not a problem. The info only shows up on the website or phone line about a week or even less before you get your payment. It might just not be showing yet. Keep checking.

And the 23rd is MAIL date so you wouldn't get it until a few days after that.

You should have it within 2 weeks of the mail date. If not call back and see what is going on. You should also be getting an explanation letter in the mail telling you what you are going to get and why. Sometimes there are delays for people who filed in April (even if they did before the 15th) because of the quick turn around of checking those tax returns to getting the stimulus money out.

The checks are being mailed approximately the same date the IRS has on the stimulus calendar. If you go back to the website, don't check on Where's My Refund, but on the Economic Stimulus Rebate faq's - that's where you need to be. If your check is supposed to be mailed on the 23rd, you should probably receive it the following Tuesday or Wednesday (Monday being a legal Holiday). One thing to note - if you've received the letter letting you know that your check is on the way, your check is usually right behind it!

ok, well, in contrast to everything you have been told, if you owe any taxes, it is possible they will apply your stimulus payment toward any debt you may have. So, that is a consideration also. I would also see if you can just send them a copy of the return you had filed, and then they might be able to find it easier. You could probably also fax them a copy of the return.
