Not necessary since we are always careful of our spending. Very rarely charge, if we do not have the cash we do without

No- we have no credit card debt, both vehicles are paid off and we are careful about frivolous spending. We enjoy going out to dinner but we don't spend beyond our means. We will continue to spend the same as we always have.

I have changed my shopping habits. I buy only what is on sale, watch for those buy one get one deals, plan out stopping at stores all on the same path instead of random back and forth trips, no new clothes, etc.

Am always pretty frugal...and do my best to live within a modest means...is much less stress and things don't buy happiness...While quality is important...quantity is always over rated...Just my 2 cents worth.

No. We have a system for splitting our incomes - 50% for bills and living, 30% saving and 20% spending. The percentages get tweeked every now and again, and we rob Peter to pay Paul, but is works.

I think we already have to some extent. We had to because of our financial status right now. We still will consider a larger purchase now and then, but we put a lot more thought into it. We talk it over and decide whether it's really worth it or not. Some things, like a new refrigerator, if the old one is shot, you have to have. For the most part, we're pretty content with what we have, and hopefully, our economic condition will improve again.
