Hey guys - a lot of you are familiar with me on here by now lol regarding the stimululs payments. Well my mom works for the post office so she called me and told me that my check was there - so I got it today - May 19th - check was dated for May 16th. My social is 07, live in NJ. My mom said there were a lot of them there today so hopefully everyone gets them as planned. By the way - I never got any notice neither - so don't worry if you didn't get a notice , as long as the irs website is saying you will get a refund, you will ;-) now what to do with it lol
 The website says your stimulus payment "is scheduled to be mailed on May 16th" and so does the hotline so they obviously did not update ;-D I know I had to post this as soon as I got my check because I know how much the extra money means to a lot of people. I wish the IRS never said, "hey look at us, we are so good we are ahead of schedule" and got so many people's hopes up. It wasn't fair. Not that I am not grateful for the extra cash but you know what I mean. Hopefully it will be all smooth sailing from here. By the way - the check says it was written in Austin TX. |

Mines ends with 08 and i live in dc. thanks for the info so hopefully i get mines today as well!

Congrads Ronnie my numbers are 00 and it said that it would be mailed out on the 16th so hopefully it will get it today.

Hi Ronnie, I got mine Saturday....the day after it was mailed out. I live in Louisiana and it was mailed from Austin.

Ronnie that is great news. My husbands ends in 00. We live in South Carolina, so hopefully we get ours today too. Mail comes at 2:30. I can't wait to see the mailman....lol
Ours also still says mailed 5/16. Guess they are too busy to update. Update** MAIL CAME AND STILL NO CHECK!! |

did everyone receive who did get a check get info on the irs website, where's my stimulus $? i'm still getting the sorry answer but number is above 40. did i just answer my own question?

I'm in Georgia - My dad received a letter last Monday the 12th saying he would get his check by May 16th. I checked the mail yesterday (May 19th) and it was in the box but not the full amount. My letter was also in the box saying I'll receive mine BY May 23- so I guess since it is a holiday Monday, I'll get mine Tuesday! THANK GOD! It came from Birmingham Alabama!
