    I have made contacts regarding a certain product from some suppliers overseas. I would like to know that before I make an expensive trip overseas to sign a contract, I would like to know some of the signs in which I could tell that the supplier is a scammer.
    Can anyone help?

    Contact your local SBA (Small Business Association), which should be listed in the phone book. This is a consult question for them. Getting help from the SBA is free, that's what they're there for. Your local SCORE office can help too. These are retired business men who mentor and help others in business.
